every coincidence happens for a reason
i have talked a lot about coincidence and reason with a lot of people. i have expressed many views and heard even many more. there are many people who believe that everything happens for a reason and many others who believe that coincidence is a real thing.
though i have argued both sides with the same intensity and belief, this is one debate which cannot come to rest in my mind. i have experienced some of the most intense moments of my life because of coincidence. but it has also been proved to me that every incidence has a reason.
i spent the last two evenings each with two very different people. one evening was about coincidence. the other about reason. one about love. the other about friendship. one about being lovers. the other about being soulmates. one about finding each other. the other about having found each other. one about leaving. the other about coming back. one about the past. the other about the future.one about wanting to be. the other about being. one about wanting answers. the other about asking questions. one evening about a man of science. the other about a man of art.
so i realised that one was about wondering where you are. the other about wondering where you could have been.
